This thick, smooth chocolate smoothie has several unexpected ingredients - chia seeds, a whole avocado and a hot chili pepper!
Cocoa Chia Diablo Protein Smoothie
Preparation Time: 5 minutes. Makes 1 glass.
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 1/4 c almond milk (plain and unsweetened) divided
- 1 banana, peeled and chopped
- 1 avocado, peeled and chopped
- 1 dried hot chili pepper
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop Eidopro Protein Powder
- Sweeten with maple syrup or honey to taste
Method:
Mix together chia seeds and 1/2 cup almond milk. Let soak for 10 minutes. Add soaked chia seeds and remaining ingredients to blender and blend for 2 minutes, or until smooth.
